It is my pleasure to welcome you to Brampton College, one of London’s best performing sixth form colleges. I hope that through visiting these pages you gain an understanding of what is important to us and what we can achieve together.
Our purpose is to transform the lives of our students by listening to and understanding their story, empowering them to set ambitious goals, and by kindling an unwavering belief that their ambitions are achievable. We want to inspire them to become self-reliant, independent individuals. Whether students join us for a short time, perhaps on a one-year A level or GCSE course, or a traditional full-length programme, we are wholeheartedly committed to provide an exceptional educational experience for every one of them.
Our students go on to achieve incredible things. In the last four years for example, over 38 students, including several of our one-year-intensive students, have achieved a place at medical school or to study dentistry, and our A level results of 44% A*/A in 2023 were among the best in London and the UK.
If this sounds of interest and you’d like to find out more, please get in touch – we’d be delighted to meet you.

As a specialist sixth form college, we are able to offer considerable flexibility with course options in order to accommodate individual needs. Today’s generation of young people are faced with many important, often difficult decisions regarding their education and future: what and where to study, for example. At Brampton College, we place great emphasis on these decisions and offer our students guidance and support so that they can be confident they have made the right choices.
Sixth form is a crucial time in a student’s life – a time of significant development both academically and personally. College life is a period of transition marked by subject specialism, increased responsibility and leadership opportunities, with a view to life beyond Brampton College. You will certainly be expected to work hard here, but at the same time the atmosphere is informal, with teachers and students on first name terms and no uniforms!
Every year, around 10% of students joining Brampton College are from overseas. We believe this ratio provides a genuine opportunity to integrate with, and experience, British life and the chance to make friends with British students. Working alongside home students at Brampton College is the best preparation for university.
